Nate’s Wings and Waffles

JP Hill:
Nate’s Wings and Waffles specialty is their chicken and waffles, as the name suggests. Their most popular item is the chicken waffle slider, which I have heard many complimentary comments about. I ordered the 1/2lb of spicy chicken tenders with spicy buffalo and chipotle BBQ sauce, and a side of sweet potato fries. The chicken was flavorful and juicy, and the fries were perfectly salted. This spot is one of my top choices for a few reasons: it’s very close, there’s always sports on TV, very friendly staff, and the food is always delicious. My only con would be that the price point is a bit high, but in this case, it is well worth it.

Joshua Scoggin:
Nate’s Wings and Waffles is a favorite amongst Seattle U students. The restaurant has a very welcoming environment that allows people to enjoy not only the meal but also conversations before and after the food is served. The fact that their wing sauces are all “House Made” also helps attract a decently large crowd. In my opinion, the restaurant is a tad overpriced but then again, who wouldn’t pay whatever it takes to each chicken wings and waffles?

The location of the restaurant is perfect for Seattle U students, being only two blocks from Campion Hall. It’s a great place to go with friends, on a date or even soloing it. If you are a Seattle U student and you haven’t yet been to Nate’s, please do yourself a favor: go, and have a good time.
