Asking for a Friend: Carlos on Ex’s, Sweaters and Meeting Guys.

Carlos is the better Uncle you never had.

    Q:

If an ex finally apologizes to you by saying “I can’t apologize enough for how I treated you” is it inappropriate to say “tru”??

    A:

Nope! You do you. It seems like you had your feelings hurt by your ex anyways so it might be better to keep your response short, sweet (or sour), and to the point.

    Q:

What’s an appropriate number of sweaters to own?

    A:

A lot, especially if you have a cold circulatory system or a cold heart, like me. However, I do try to keep my alpaca wool sweaters to a minimum because they’re itchy and I’m not sure if they are made ethically. Oops.

    Q:

CHow do I convince people to at least make eye contact with me when I wave at them??

    A:

Sounds like a real problem. Maybe they didn’t know you were waving at them. Try flailing your arms more dramatically while yelling their name out loud. Let me know if that works.

    Q:

Is telling people to meet my roommate’s dog a good way to meet guys?

    A:

Yes! Show that pupper to the world! Be aware: they might end up liking the dog more than you.

    XOXO Uncle Carlos
