Rancho Bravo Tacos
JP Hill:
The service was incredibly fast, and the staff was very friendly and open for conversation. The menu at Rancho Bravo is extensive and has something for everyone. I ordered a few variations of the tacos on corn tortillas choosing three different types of meat to try: steak, chicken, and carne asada. The steak was cut in a way so that it was easy to eat and cooked to perfection. The chicken was well marinated and flavorful. The carne asada tacos were the most delicious melt-in-your-mouth tacos I have ever had. They are priced very fairly at $3 per taco, which is a steal. The food to dollar ratio at Rancho Bravo is perfect. All this paired with the fact that it is open late night as well as available for delivery makes it an absolute must eat for any SU student. Be sure to check out their website for location information and menu options.
Joshua Scoggin:
As a person who was raised in South America, Rancho Bravo Tacos really allowed me to experience an authentic “Latino” experience. There’s soccer on the TV, salsa and cumbia playing in the background and a general relaxed, laid back feeling. Our friends and I had been going to Dick’s burgers for a while now every time we got hungry at midnight, but now we’re trying to switch spots to come eat at Rancho Bravo. It’s a perfect not too short, not too far distance from campus, its relatively cheap and the quality of the food is on point. Maybe a downside is that the cleanliness does not exactly hit the five-star mark, but I would not consider the restaurant to be dirty.
